Well ladies,
For those of you out there that may be thinking I can't do that, what ever that is, I have to share with you that at 51 I've managed to pass the basic 32 firefighter course for the Forest service today! whew!
boy, my hats off to all the guys and gals out there doing this job I had a healthy respect for them before, but I have even more for them now. I won't be fighting fire, they put me thru it so I could better understand fire behavior, but I got to learn how to do a progressive hose lay and run the nozzle while doing it, cut fire line, and practice deploying a fire shelter, wow, what a blast, so if you're still thinking I can't do that, yes you can, I did...... so what ever that is, go for it, I did and had a blast doing it.

It's a beautiful day in the nieghborhood! I can't even begin to express how awesome it is to wake up to the sunrise in my window and the birds that sing to welcome it in, I feel like I'm camping while sleeping in my own bed.what a gift.
