Don't Drink the Water.

Even though bottled water costs 2,000 times more than tap , many of us happily pony up, believing we're paying for purity (cue images of picturesque mountain springs and tropical aquifers). But turns out we might not be.

The Environmental Working Group (EWG) recently released a report that found 38 different contaminants in 10 brands of bottled drinking water, including bacteria, acetaminophen, fertilizer, solvents, plastic-making chemicals, and the radioactive element strontium.

While public water supplies are regulated by the government , to bottled kind is not. The International Bottled Water Association, which represents most of the industry, has voluntary standards that companies can follow to make sure their products don't contain contaminants. But the association does not require bottlers to reveal what's in their water , where it comes from , or how and if it is purified.

But don't trade bottled water for tap without investing in a filter. Testing has shown that 40 percent of all bottled water is really tap water anyway, which comes with its own problems.

Recent studies found pharmaceuticals like antidepressants, sex hormones, and antibiotics in the water of 24 major US cities (including Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Washington, DC.)

Nonfiltration and reverse-osmosis systems have been shown to remove several drugs along with heavy metals and other chemicals.

Just wanted to share this valuable information that I found in Natural Solutions Magazine with everybody, we need to know how to take care of our bodies
and what we are giving our kids to drink.

I thought this information about bottled water was very interesting and eye opening.

Share this info with loved ones.

Take care and Have an amazing day! ;o)

You can say things like, "As I look at successful people, and by that I mean rich people, yes, and I mean happy people, and sometimes they're rich and happy." But when I'm talking about the successful ones, what I really mean is the really happy people. People that are really joyful, that want to get up every day, that are eager to get into their day. Almost without exception, they had a pretty rough beginning, which turned them into a powerful rebel initially. And then they found a way to relax into their natural birthright of Well-being.

Excerpted from the workshop in Tucson, AZ on Saturday, February 2nd, 2002

Enjoy your day :)

1. Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer cells do not show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied to a few billion. When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are unable to detect the cancer cells because they have not reached the detectable size.

2. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person's lifetime.

3 When the person's immune system is strong the cancer cells will be destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumors.

4. When a person has cancer it indicates the person has multiple nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic, environmental, food and lifestyle factors.

5. To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies, changing diet and including supplements will strengthen the immune system.

6. Chemotherapy involves poisoning the rapidly-growing cancer cells and also destroys rapidly-growing healthy cells in the bone marrow, gastrointestinal tract etc, and can cause organ damage, like liver, kidneys, heart, lungs etc.

7. Radiation while destroying cancer cells also burns, scars and damages healthy cells, tissues and organs.

8. Initial treatment with chemotherapy and radiation will often reduce tumor size. However prolonged use of chemotherapy and radiation do not result in more tumor destruction.

9. When the body has too much toxic burden from chemotherapy and radiation the immune system is either compromised or destroyed, hence the person can succumb to various kinds of infections and complications.

10. Chemotherapy and radiation can cause cancer cells to mutate and become resistant and difficult to destroy. Surgery can also cause cancer cells to spread to other sites.

11. An effective way to battle cancer is to starve the cancer cells by not feeding it with the foods it needs to multiply.

*CANCER CELLS FEED ON:

a. Sugar is a cancer-feeder. By cutting off sugar it cuts off one important food supply to the cancer cells. Sugar substitutes like NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, etc are made with Aspartame and it is harmful. A better natural substitute would be Manuka honey or molasses, but only in very small amounts. Table salt has a chemical added to make it white in color. Better alternative is Bragg's aminos or sea salt.

b. Milk causes the body to produce mucus, especially in the gastro-intestinal tract. Cancer feeds on mucus. By cutting off milk and substituting with unsweetened soy milk cancer cells are being starved.

c. Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment. A meat-based diet is acidic and it is best to eat fish, and a little chicken rather than beef or pork. Meat also contains livestock antibiotics, growth hormones and parasites, which are all harmful, especially to people with cancer.

d. A diet made of 80% fresh vegetables and juice, whole grains, seeds, nuts and a little fruits help put the body into an alkaline environment. About 20% can be from cooked food including beans. Fresh vegetable juices provide live enzymes that are easily absorbed and reach down to cellular levels within 15 minutes to nourish and enhance growth of healthy cells. To obtain live enzymes for building healthy cells try and drink fresh vegetable juice (most vegetables including bean sprouts) and eat some raw vegetables 2 or 3 times a day. Enzymes are destroyed at temperatures of 104 degrees F (40 degrees C).

e. Avoid coffee, tea, and chocolate, which have high caffeine. Green tea is a better alternative and has cancer fighting properties. Water-best to drink purified water, or filtered, to avoid known toxins and heavy metals in tap water. Distilled water is acidic, avoid it.

12. Meat protein is difficult to digest and requires a lot of digestive enzymes. Undigested meat remaining in the intestines becomes putrefied and leads to more toxic buildup.

13. Cancer cell walls have a tough protein covering. By refraining from or eating less meat it frees more enzymes to attack the protein walls of cancer cells and allows the body's killer cells to destroy the cancer cells.

14. Some supplements build up the immune system (IP6, Flor-ssence, Essiac, anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals, EFAs etc.) to enable the bodies own killer cells to destroy cancer cells. Other supplements like vitamin E are known to cause apoptosis, or programmed cell death, the body's normal method of disposing of damaged, unwanted, or unneeded cells.

15. Cancer is a disease of the mind, body, and spirit. A proactive and positive spirit will help the cancer warrior be a survivor. Anger, un-forgiveness and bitterness put the body into a stressful and acidic environment. Learn to have a loving and forgiving spirit. Learn to relax and enjoy life.

16. Cancer cells cannot thrive in an oxygenated environment. Exercising daily, and deep breathing help to get more oxygen down to the cellular level. Oxygen therapy is another means employed to destroy cancer cells.

1. No plastic containers in micro.

2. No water bottles in freezer.

3. No plastic wrap in microwave.

Johns Hopkins has recently sent this out in its newsletters. This information is being circulated at Walter Reed Army Medical Center as well. Dioxin chemicals cause cancer, especially breast cancer. Dioxins are highly poisonous to the cells of our bodies. Don't freeze your plastic bottles with water in them as this releases dioxins from the plastic. Recently, Dr. Edward Fujimoto, Wellness Program Manager at Cast le Hospital, was on a TV program to explain this health hazard. He talked about dioxins and how bad they are for us. He said that we should not be heating our food in the microwave using plastic containers. This especially applies to foods that contain fat. He said that the combination of fat, high heat, and plastics releases dioxin into the food and ultimately into the cells of the body. Instead, he recommends using glass, such as Corning Ware, Pyrex or ceramic containers for heating food You get the same results, only without the dioxin. So such things as TV dinners, instant ramen and soups, etc., should be removed from the container and heated in something else. Pa per isn't bad but you don't know what is in the paper. It's just safer to use tempered glass, Corning Ware, etc. He reminded us that a while ago some of the fast food restaurants moved away from the foam containers to paper. The dioxin problem is one of the reasons.

Also, he pointed out that plastic wrap, such as Saran, is just as dangerous when placed over foods to be cooked in the microwave. As the food is nuked, the high heat causes poisonous toxins to actually melt out of the plastic wrap and drip into the food. Cover food with a paper towel instead.

This is an article that should be sent to anyone important in your life.

Faith must be motivated by love.
It is by grace and through faith
that we see miracles happen in
our lives. Miracles of love,
blessing, prosperity and more.

One thing I appreciate is the
miracle moments I have with
life-committed friends. I can
count on one hand the people
who are really close enough
in my life to be with me and
there FOR me through it all.

You can't run off good friends
even if you tried. They'll always
be there for you. "Your
friends need no explanation
from you, for your life (or
anything else); your enemies
will never believe one."

My faith is not only motivated
by love but it is encouraged
and built through the amazing
people in my life.

When someone becomes my
friend, they are stuck with
me for life. The only way that
they'll get rid of me is walk
off from the friendship. I've
had some to do that. That's
o.k. I bless them and let them
go.

However, the reason I choose
to make friends for life is, I
know that we'll need each other
along the way. They'll need my
support and my encouragement.
I'll need theirs.

Someone told me recently,
"I have this friend that always
puts me down. They are SO
discouraging to me."

I don't have friends like that
in my life. I give those people
permission to go on pass me.
No judgment. No condemning.
No criticizing. Just let them
go on.

Friends encourage you. They
are there for you. It doesn't
matter your circumstances in
life. Through the good times
and the hard times. They'll be
there to encourage you and
help you build your faith.

If I'd have created this
whole thing called 'life' on
this planet, I would have
created just as it is. I love it
this way. I love they fact
that we all need each other.
I love the empowerment and
faith I feel from friends.

Let your faith be motivated
by love. A lady wrote me
recently and told me that I
was the only one encouraging
her in her life. I told her that
she can be grateful that there
is someone whom she has
been connected with, to care
and encourage her.

Of course, her connection with
me does amazing things to encourage
me. To know that I'm needed
in her life and am making a difference.
That fulfills needs deep in my
heart.

Let your faith be encouraged
today by this note of love. I care
about you and your life. I'm here
for you. You are loved!

Hope you are having a lovely weekend.

In 1869 British MP John Stuart Mill was the first person in Parliament to call for women's right to vote. On 19 September 1893 New Zealand became the first country in the world to give women the right to vote. Women in other countries did not enjoy this equality and campaigned for justice for many years.

In 1910 a second International Conference of Working Women was held in Copenhagen. A woman named Clara Zetkin (Leader of the 'Women's Office' for the Social Democratic Party in Germany) tabled the idea of an International Women's Day. She proposed that every year in every country there should be a celebration on the same day - a Women's Day - to press for their demands. The conference of over 100 women from 17 countries, representing unions, socialist parties, working women's clubs, and including the first three women elected to the Finnish parliament, greeted Zetkin's suggestion with unanimous approval and thus International Women's Day was the result.

The very first International Women's Day was launched the following year by Clara Zetkin on 19 March (not 8 March). The date was chosen because on 19 March in the year of the 1848 revolution, the Prussian king recognized for the first time the strength of the armed people and gave way before the threat of a proletarian uprising. Among the many promise he made, which he later failed to keep, was the introduction of votes for women.

Plans for the first International Women's Day demonstration were spread by word of mouth and in the press. During the week before International Women's Day two journals appeared: The Vote for Women in Germany and Women's Day in Austria. Various articles were devoted to International Women's Day: 'Women and Parliament', 'The Working Women and Municipal Affairs', 'What Has the Housewife got to do with Politics?', etc. The articles thoroughly analyzed the question of the equality of women in the government and in society. All articles emphasized the same point that it was absolutely necessary to make parliament more democratic by extending the franchise to women.

Success of the first International Women's Day in 1911 exceeded all expectation.

Meetings were organized everywhere in small towns and even the villages halls were packed so full that male workers were asked to give up their places for women.

Men stayed at home with their children for a change, and their wives, the captive housewives, went to meetings.

During the largest street demonstration of 30,000 women, the police decided to remove the demonstrators' banners so the women workers made a stand. In the scuffle that followed, bloodshed was averted only with the help of the socialist deputies in Parliament.

In 1913 International Women's Day was transferred to 8 March and this day has remained the global date for International Wommen's Day ever since.

During International Women's Year in 1975, IWD was given official recognition by the United Nations and was taken up by many governments. International Women's Day is marked by a national holiday in China, Armenia, Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Macedonia, Moldova, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Vietnam

Hope you enjoyed the info I presonally thought that it was very interesting.

Happy Women's Day to all my BraveHeart sisters :-x

It's Palmira with an important piece of information for you...

In these times of economic chaos, we need to take a good hard look at what we are doing. It is somewhat odd how in a down economy more millionaires are created than in any other time in history. As luck would have it we are entering the worst depression since the Great Depression, some experts say we are only in the beginning stages and this will be far worse before it gets better.

So the question comes up. Is your business recession proof?

In down times people really start to tighten their belts. They
start to cut back on things they do not need. If you are pedaling a health drink, energy drink, or some other unneeded service it is NORMAL that income will start to fall during these bad times. Those who are not in profit mode can easily justify stopping their auto ship and dropping out of your business.

The same holds true for any product that is not a necessity. Some of the big ones here are travel products, cash gifting programs, software programs, and companies with out a real product that is desired and needed in these tough times.
It becomes much harder to find someone who is willing to try that type of business. Most feel they will not be able to sell the product because it just is not needed.

So how do you ensure your business is recession proof?

This is much easier than you think. Each and every month people pay a group of bills that are necessities, bills they need to pay and will continue to pay. Bills like, their home phone, cell phone, ip phone, satellite TV, internet connection, home security, etc. You get the idea.

Now imagine earning a commission check each month when these bills are paid. Not only have you found a great residual income stream, you have found something that is recession
proof. Something that people can easily share with others. Something they know will not only provide them monthly savings on these services but an amazing business opportunity
that will pay them every month.

I know now your wondering: How can I possibly do that? The answer is a company called ACN. ACN has created relationships with companies like, Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, Nextel, T-Mobil, Direct TV, Dish Network, ADT. There is no need to replace your current provider, even better right?

In addition ACN is their own service provider offering savings on local and long distance phone services, ip phone service, and they are the worlds largest video phone and service provider. It has been predicted Video Phones will be the next global change and by 2020 most every home will have a video phone.

This is a recession proof businesses. ACN has 13 years of success backing them. Has spent over 250 million dollars in research and development over the last year. Has positioned themselves as an industry leader.

For more information on how to recession proof your business with ACN and work to be one of these newly created millionaires visit my website here.

Well it’s a pretty good Diet rich in nutrients and most importantly this diet its not about starving.

I wanted to share with you what I’ve read about the Flat Belly Diet and I hope you enjoy it.

If you are like most women, you are feeling overbooked and overfed. But there is a solution: quick meals made from healthy, delicious packaged foods that follow the rules of the breakthrough Flat Belly Diet! These 25 meals which were developed by Cynthia Sass, MPH, RD, co-author and creator of the Flat Belly Diet, will leave you satisfied on fewer calories, which makes it much easier to lose weight without feeling hungry.

The cornerstone of the eating plan (and these weight loss meals) is the almighty MUFA (pronounced MOO-fah). MUFAs are foods that are rich in monounsaturated fatty acids, healthful fats that research links to less belly fat and better overall health. The best part: MUFAs are found in rich, delicious foods such as olive, nuts, and seeds, oils, avocado, and (yes!) dark chocolate.

Incorporating a MUFA into every meal is easy: its even easier by combining them with some new supermarket products. Each of the following 25 products was taste-tested and the recipes were created by Cynthia herself, plus they take 15 minutes or less o prepare. You’ll find options for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks, divided by MUFA category. To incorporate them into your diet and lose up to 15 pounds this month, mix and match any of the meals and follow these four rules, which are integral to the Flat Belly Diet:

1 Eat four 400-calorie meals per day (these following meals have approximately 400 calories each)
