Mike stepped into the used bookstore, smelled the age of old pages and smiled.
Here was a wealth of old stories, history waiting to be read, and a host of other joys. On a back shelf, he found what he was looking for, two tiers crammed with the forgotten. They'd served their use to those who once held them dear, but now gathered dust in the darkest corner of the store.
There were Italian, American, French and Greek. They contained secrets from around the world. There were collections of chicken, beef, pastries, bread, and desserts. They waited, hidden in a little explored part of the store, and hoped someone discovered their treasures.
Mike knew what to do. He picked one up, held the spine in his hand and let the book fall open. They always opened to the most used pages, the recipes loved by lost generations. The page in front of him was for a recipe called, "Beef-filled cornbread". The picture showed a delicious layer of meat and cheese, layered with cornbread and covered with a hot sauce. The pages were stained with splatters of tomato sauce. It was obviously a favorite of the previous owners. He'd try this one.
Those used the most are the best.
He found several other books, each with its own marked pages, carried them to the counter and made his purchase.
"I hope you found something you like." The cashier said.
"Oh yes. Very much! I'm sure these are exactly to my taste."
He paid for his purchase, left the store and carried them in a bag on his way to work.
In the locker room, he placed his books on the top shelf and changed into his scrubs. The recipes would wait. He had a duty.
Freshly dressed, he walked his floor. "Hello, Mrs. Smith!" He smiled at the elderly lady sitting in the sun-room reading a book. In her day, she must have been a beautiful woman. She still was, for a woman in her eighties. "How was your day?"
"Horrible!" she growled. He sat beside her, held her hand and looked into her eyes. "My grandson didn't visit me," she continued. "He promised me he'd be here today." She adjusted her shawl and tried to hide the tears about to spill from her wizened eyes.
"Maybe tomorrow." he replied. "You know how busy these young people are." He noted the tear in the corner of her eye and changed subject. "Mrs. Smith, didn't you tell me you lived during the great depression?"
A smile came to her face. "Oh, yes. What a time that was. There was no work, ya know. But we survived."
"How did you get by?"
"Well, we all worked together. Everyone worked together. We helped each other." She frowned. "It's not like today, where people are too busy to worry about anyone but themselves. In those days, we worked together. If you didn't, you starved."
"It must have been a hard time, Mrs. Smith. I don't know how you did it."
"I didn't." she grinned. "We did. We did it together, the neighbors and my family."
He left her smiling and hoped her grandson paid a visit the next day.
He moved down the hall and stepped into Mr. Walker's room. "Hey, Walk! How's things?" He used the name Walk, as all the others in the center called him. It made Walk feel comfortable.
Mr. Walker looked up from a puzzle he leaned over. "Could be better, Mike. This damn puzzle has me stumped. These eyes aren't what they used to be."
"I know, Walk. Just take your time. There's no rush."
"There is too." Walk chuckled. "I need to finish it before I die."
"Not too soon I hope." Mike said.
"Soon enough. Be glad not to have to work on this darn thing anymore anyway. Say! Have I told you about the guy who walks into a bar with a giraffe under his arm?"
Mike chuckled. Walk loved a good joke. "I don't believe you have."
Walk's face broke out in a smile. "You see, this guy walks into a bar with a giraffe under his arm. He has a few beers. The giraffe falls asleep on the floor. The bartender looks down, sees the giraffe and asks, 'What's that lying on the floor?'
"The guy says, 'That's not a lion! That's a giraffe.'"
Walk broke into a laugh that turned into a coughing spell. Mike slapped him on the back. "Come on, Walk. Cough it up."
Walk got himself under control. "Thought I wasn't going to finish this damn puzzle after all."
"You're OK now. I got your back."
I know about covering someone's back." Walk sat straight his seat. "I was in WWII ya know."
"I heard that. Did you have a hard time?" Mike asked.
"Mike, you have no idea. It was the winter of '41, or was it '42. I can't remember now. Snow was up to here." Walk pointed to his thigh. "We were on the front. The enemy was close ."
Thirty minutes later, Mike said, "WOW! That's a story, Walk." He paused. "Walk, I knew you were in the war, but I don't think I ever thanked you. I want to say, 'Thank you.' You made us safe."
"Ah, stop it. It was nothing." Walk turned to his puzzle, too embarrassed to continue their talk. He and others knew what they did, but don't want to take credit. It's an unspoken rule between the veterans. They did what they had to.
Mike continued on his rounds, held hands, shared hugs and listened.
Here they were, like the cookbooks, sitting in dark corners, ignored. Mike knew what to do. He held them, let their hearts fall open, and found the pages stained with use.
They are the most valued. They are the pages long forgotten.

Never, Never give up on your dreams, your passions, what you were meant to do in life, because of a set back or obsticle figure out the ways to move forward. You don't need to know how you just open yourself up to the possibilites, try new things and keep going. Most people stop when they are one step away from achievement.

Arguments are just a power play. Some will argue with you just to get more power from you. Take the time when someone is argumentive and listen to what they have to say. Do not chime in on your thoughts, let them say what they have to say. Then you will decide whether it is worth spending time on or whether to move on. Whatever you do please do not add fuel to the fire, join in the negativity or raise your voice. The best way to deal with an angry person is to listen then give another perspective, another view of the situation. Sometime that is enough to allow them to change their perspective. Fear and low self belief are developed habits, understand that these are defaults. I read a story about a butterfly here is how it went, It was about a man who tried to help the butterly by cutting his cacoon, he was trying to help the butterfly get here sooner, and by doing so the butterfly died as soon as he was free....
You see the time is necessary to build your why, your muscles that will help you to sore in life, and grow. The butterfly need to build his wing muscles to be able to fly, by helping the butterfly did not help it because it was not ready to fly.....
With human life we have a tendancy to want to be helped, or to have things done the easy way, but successful people know that the true success is doing it yourself, walking through those fears of I can't and placing Faith in what you do, knowing that it will either turn out or it won't but if you never do anything else then change will not happen either.
We all need to find our purpose or Why....Make it your purpose to find what it is that you are so passionate about and share it with others along the way.
Make Giving a habit, it is what the 2% of the truly wealthy do, why because it is the law of the reciprocity, what you give will be returned in a much bigger way...(remember it works for both positive and negative.)

Ask yourself is my comfort zone, my deadly cacoon? are you staying in your cacoon because you are comfortable and safe? Well just as the butterfly leaves its place of comfort in order to experienc the beauty that life has in store for it, so shall you leave yours to do the same. (remember don't do any of this if you want to remain the same for the rest of your life).
The most important exercise is to Reach down and pull someone up, the habit of giving, because habits predict your future...Think about it....what you do predicts what you get....

One hears thunder unexpectedly! First comes fear, then a sharpening of one's vision. Recall a close brush with danger — a falling branch, an automobile accident barely avoided, an escape from a potentially violent confrontation. Such incidents arouse every nerve fiber in your body in a brief wave of terror, but soon, once the danger has passed, give way to a heightened awareness of the world. The same process also occurs with other types of shock — the loss of a job, the sudden departure of a loved one, business failure and so on.
The lasting impact of a major shock can either be stimulating or debilitating, depending upon one's strength of character. The critical factor is the ability to shake off fear, thereby transforming anxiety into a laser-sharp perception of the world around you.
When overtaken by crisis, the wise search their hearts for inner strengths in order to face their life with courage. This often means daring to take an unexpected path — to bounce back quickly and self-confidently after failures, to have faith in the eternal when confronted with death.
We tend to think of shock only in the context of unpleasant events. We can also be jarred, however, by the sudden release of tension that comes with unexpected joy or success. To keep your bearings in the aftershock of either trauma or victory, it is essential that your inner compass be aligned with 'true north', that magnetic force which guides you toward fulfillment of both your deepest desire, and your highest destiny.
Hello Brave Heart Women. Progress is made when those in subordinate positions create harmony with those above, and in so doing create a natural means for their collective talents and abilities to blossom. To those of you out there that feel that they cannot deal with their past, for fear of insanity.....The enemy has placed this thought in your head.
The enemy has worked overtime in this country and on everyone for so long that now he is sitting back enjoying the seeds he has planted in all of us.
We all need to think about our thought process, if you live in fear, then the enemy has put you there.
Look at the self destructive side of yourself, Let God heal you......You cannot hold the beast down when you have a self destructive side...it will win over you, until you Call on God, and really mean it.
It is your right in Christ to deal with it. Don't be driven by fear. God has not given you the spirit of fear, but power of love and sound mind.
It is your right in Christ to a sound mind.
Panic leads to poor decisions. Panic is fear on steroids. Panic will lead us wrong every single time. Panic is manic, does not lead to sound decisions.
Women PMS needs to not be a excuse for poor behavior you should change PMS to PLS Power, Love, Sound mind.
We need to repeat this over and over, When God steps in The Enemy has to go.....the problems have to go......(AND THEY WILL).
Thank God for the problems you are going through, rejoice its a new day! There are depths in God most people do not get to.....I want you to read this again....this is powerful, until you give in and believe totally in his word....you will not see the power and glory that come over you and your life....

It is very easy to give praise when things are going well. Some of you are about to cross over. The answer to your prayers have been held back by the enemy. You are on the brink of crossing over.

Declare Word of God over the enemy tell the Devil your time is up! (say that over and over)
Whatever problems you have here, its the same now all over the country. Whatever your problems are we are all in the same season of crossing over. God wants to take you from the old place into the new place.
That's why the devil is against the churches. The lord will never loose control of his creation he has final say! (say that again)
The whole world is crying there is no money, Say there is no recession because my security is in the kingdom that is what I believe in.
Take your position, don't play games with God, when you do, you are messing with your destiny. (say this over and over)
I am going to be rich cause I live in the Kingdom! (Believe this)

God is looking for people like you and me so he can choose you to let others know the glory. He will use you.
In you position to cross over pray, know God, prepare, pray for yourself and family. Don't just say it feel it.

For all of you out there I know in my life, I have come from a place of unhappiness, stress, and not that my life was terribly wrong, but I know my thoughts were...my belief system needed tweaking....when I tweaked it and really beilieving in my faith, gave it to the Lord, troubles that is, then delved into the self improvement, development then and only then did my burdens become lighter, and vision become clearer.
Now my path is wide open for all the beauty that God has to offer....once again it is a process. Get on board...change your thoughts...the Beauty is all there in your Sound Mind!
If we want to experience life to the fullest, we first have to discover, who we are. We need to discern what is important to us in life personally.
We must decide which of our thoughts are reflections of our true inner selves, and which thoughts and perceptives are layers of personality that we use to hide behind.
Distinguishing between our limiting thoughts and the unlimited potential that resides within allows us to embrace our internal power.
We can better understand who we really are if we are willing to look at our inner selves objectively, then we can set aside the limiting beliefs and perspectives we may have accepted from others. We can shed the masks, the layers of personality, and the illusionary roles we have been playing for others and embrace our true inner selves.
We can choose to see our world and reality any way we want...We no longer need to be something for others......We need to be something for ourselves---we need to be us...

A fisherman can cast the line, but he can only wait for the fish to bite. Your catch will come in its own time; you cannot make it hurry to you — neither by working, nor by planning, nor by wishing. You may need to provide nourishment or support for others; but only through patience can you become the bridge between the fickle fish and the eventual feast. Strength in a time of trial waits quietly, resolutely. Weakness grows agitated, and abandons the effort before the fish bites. Periods of waiting are most fruitful when used for quiet contemplation.
Proceed cautiously, but resolutely, with whatever you are doing. The time and situation are calling for consistency and patience. Waiting is an essential skill; patience is a powerful force. Good timing is an ally of those with inner strength — the kind of strength that allows you to be uncompromisingly honest with yourself, while sticking to the path you have charted. If you persevere with a positive attitude, time weakens even the hardest obstacles. To rush anything, or impatiently force results, stimulates resistance and causes setbacks. At best, you achieve surface changes — the kind that can just as quickly be reversed. Steadfast waiting — while holding to your integrity leads to slow but permanent improvements. In the end, you accomplish something great. Practice patience.
The trigram earth is above that of heaven, and heaven seems to be on earth. The gravity of matter merges with the upward radiation of light to merge in deep harmony. This juxtaposition denotes a time of peace and blessings for all living things. In the affairs of humans, tranquility comes when the good, strong and powerful show favor to those of lower status, and those of more modes means are well disposed towards those who are currently blessed. This condition marks an end to feuding. In such a state, it is best to let the energy ride high. The way is cleared, and the prospects for great success are outstanding.
Chaotic forces still abide in nature, but man, by carefully responding to the rhythms and cycles of the world around him, can find peace in the natural world. By planting the right crop in the right place in the right season, the farmer brings harmony to the cultivation of plants, and prosperity to his family. Similarly, any business must adjust to the natural cycles of the season; only through flexibility and adaptation can order and growth be maintained. Peaceful times produce a time of flowering and prosperity; the wise person channels positive energy to all quarters, to each in proper proportion, just as a farmer waters his field. But be vigilant. Otherwise, peaceful conditions will foster the growth of weeds as well as flowers.
Truth involves establishing an aware relationship between your inner core and the circumstances in your life. Centering in truth involves the ability to perceive a fundamental wisdom, reflected within yourself and the people you know.
Truth is transformed into power when you dissolve prejudice and make yourself receptive to the world as it really is. Truth's power can be a remarkable force indeed — yet is rarer than generally imagined. It can be maintained only by cultivating a genuine openness to things as they are — a willingness to see, rather than merely look.
Whenever your inner life is clouded, your influence in the world is under a shadow. If you are fearful, you will be attacked; if you cloak genuine mysteries in dogma, opportunities for new insight will be lost. If you vacillate in upholding your principles, you will be tested. Yet, when you are firm and strong, the power of truth can break through even the most stubborn minds.
In any debate, the power to perceive the truth in the other side's argument is essential to achieving success. It is possible to influence even the most difficult people, or improve the most difficult circumstance, through the power of universal truth — for unvarnished truth is something to which all things naturally respond. Get in touch with the part of yourself that is aware of this universal force. Cultivate this inner resource, and you will become adept at using it to bond with others to support a common purpose.
Hello Brave Heart Women, All progress begins one step at a time. There is no sudden lead to greatness. Good work, done little by little becomes great work. The house of success is built brick by brick.
You can do what you want to do, achieve what you want to achieve, attain any reasonable objective you may have in mind. Not all of a sudden, nor in one sweeping act of achievement. You will do it gradually, day by day and play by play.
If you want to do it, if you work to do it, you will accomplish your goal over a sufficient period of time.
Your big accomplishments will be a series of little accomplishments.
Increase and decrease are a part of the natural cycle of life. As spiritual author long ago put it, "To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under Heaven." Like a reservoir that is being used to irrigate the fields, learning to accept a decrease in position or material possessions is part of preparing for increase in the future.
We may live in materialistic times, but there is no disgrace in material decrease, particularly if it represents an investment in future gain- even if that gain be in the form of one's education or the development of personal character. Likewise, the inner strength that comes from bearing loss can be balanced by a corresponding increase in inner strength and insight-as in the expression "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger." When letting go of attachment and personal demands leads to a greater simplicity in daily life, good fortune often comes calling.
In nature, the lake evaporates to form the clouds that drop the rain that nurtures the surrounding forest. As the forest grows thick, more rain is captured for the lake. Similarly, an evaproation or decrease in one area of your life, may give rise to an eventual increase in another. A loss of responsibility at work can mean more free time, more free time may generate more career options. A period of decrease is not necessarily a bad thing; in fact, it can free the spirit and fill the soul.
Be mindful of the lesson of young lovers: even with a minimum of possessions, feelings of the heart can bring unsurpassed richness to life. The smallest actions, if sincere, have value. So remain confident, for a time of decrease may actually bode good fortune, especially if you remain open to that possibility.
Let go of frustration, resistance and regret over whatever may be going down at this time. Accept the cycle, and remember what goes down must come up....
1.Don't expect to be appreciated. Your only expectation should be to get a paycheck. Don't come to work to have personal relationships. Don't allow what you do to to affect who you are.
2. Do your job well, but remember your mission. God put you there to be a light.
3.Seek opportunities to change the atomosphere without commenting on the problems. You have a God to talk to. You're on an assignment. In quietness and competence shall be your strength.
4. Don't let your enviroment get inside you. You should influence it, not let it influence you. Stop going to work to be fed, you didn't come to recieve, you came to give.
5. Increase your capacity to work with different personalities. God will often bless you through people you don't even like!
6. Remember where you are does not define where you are going. This will deliver you from frustration. God has a plan for your life. Keep your eye on the prize. When Peter did this, he was able to work in what other people sank in!
7. Get the optimum results with minimal confusion. Be effective without making the enviroment worse.
8. Don't be associated with one group or clique. Labels limit your usefulness. God wants you to work with everybody but be labeled by nobody. Use all your gifts.
9. Always keep your song near you. keep a consecrated place in your soul. Hold on to your praise.
10. Understand that God anoints you for trouble. Put on the whole armour of God before going to work........
Well, what can I say? I’m a crazy lady, who believes absolutely anything is possible in life, and the world is simply my playground where I create freedom, joy, abundance, and prosperity for myself, and all those who I come in contact with.
I’ve had the good fortune of KNOWING just how powerful our ‘Intentions’ and ‘Abilities’ are… so when I stumbled into Network Marketing as a 43 year old women just needing more from life… something in my just KNEW I could do it.
Of course, I failed MISERABLY for the first 9 months and experienced what it felt like to work, struggle, and endure constant challenges, obstacles, and set backs. And I am SO THANKFUL for that time words can’t even express it.
That time of failure, and defeat, taught me MORE about who I am then almost anything else. The reason why is… because I NEVER stopped.
Even amidst what seemed like a ‘hopeless’ situation… I just NEVER stopped. I never stopped KNOWING that I could do it, and taking the correct action steps to make it happen.
I never stopped seeking solutions, I never stopped my unquenchable thirst for freedom. I never lost sight of my visions, my goals, and the higher purpose I felt for what I was really here to do.
I didn’t turn away, and run off looking for security in the face of INSECURITY.
I accepted everything that was happening, I looked within myself, and I FOUND the strength inside to just keep going.
And if you do that my friends… your OWN Inner Strength will take you to some amazing places. All you have to do is look within, and really FIND IT, and it will bring you to the promise land.
Less then 3 years after stumbling onto the Internet, I have finally found some opportunities and the know how to get what I want.
Downlines have been built of thousands and thousands of people in multiple different companies in some of the fastest time periods ever.
Infrastructures are in place to just continue to pump out leads, cash flow, and never ending income… to the tune of millions annually and growing. And the funny thing is… I just never had a doubt.
So the greatest gift I can now share… is this gift of challenging YOU to look within yourself and find the same strength, the same power that is contained within ALL OF US.
This power is INFINITELY creative, and when you tap into it there are no boundaries to what it can do.

It is in your blood, legacy of championship dreams, God has put it in you...Doesn't matter how many flaws you have, you have the DNA of almighty God. You come from a long line of champions.
Moses parted the Red Sea- there is great faith in your blood line.
David a shepard boy, defeated Golieth with only a few pebbles he picked up from a brook.- there is courage in your blood line.
Sampson tumbled a building- there is supernatural strength in your blood line. Daniel spent an entire night in a lions den, and wasn't even harmed- Devine protection flows through your blood line. Queen Esther put her life on the line to save Gods people- Sacrifice and heroism are in your bloodline.
You understand now you come from a blood line of champions, you are not ordinary, you are a thorobred.
Doesn't matter what your outside looks like, you must know that on the inside flows the blood of a winner. You have seeds of greatness, seeds of almighty God. God sees you already at the winners circle, he has been working on you for a long time.
No addictions, no issues can change your blood line, you were bought at a very high price, God gave his very best for you his only son...don't think you are worthless, cause you have a champion in there. Natural blood line, Spiritual bloodlines are different, cause the Spiritual blood line overides the Natural.
Trouble makers you may say he has a bad blood line, somewhat true but your spiritual blood line can overide all the others, power is in your spiratual blood line.
