I want to share that recently a situation happened that really let me know I was doing what I should be doing in my life right now. You see my fiancee was having problems with his bank account-someone trying to double tag him for an overdraft that had already been paid or something and his account came up short when we were supposed to by groceries on his week to do it (we split all expenses and alternate weeks to do grocery shopping) My account was as low as his on that day because it was toward the end of the month and my check is deposited on the first.Between the 2 of us we could not have had enough to buy groceries. So I put in an emergency call to my brother who bless his heart came through for me, But right after that within 24 hrs my next door neighbor came knocking on my door with a big box of canned goods and an unexpected gift of money came for both me and my fiancee so that we had an abundance to see us through the new year. I just thought about how it seemed that the bread I had cast on the waters when others were in need came back in spades when I needed it and I sent a really heartfelt prayer of thanks to all the powers of the universe that aided me that day. You never know how when you bless someone else in need it comes back and when you have need it is supplied and then some, often without asking. It was one of many ways the law of attraction has worked to my benefit and I have been blessed and prospered by kindness. And you know sometimes that kindness came in spite of how I was acting or thinking. I am glad the Universe is so tolerant of our foibles when we are learning the ropes aren't you? I hope everyone has a very blessed and prosperous 2010.

I am posting this here as well as at my ning site because I feel we women really need to embrace our power. One of our most important things we can do is to bless others. It is also the most powerful. --------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------- ------- I'm sure you all have noticed that I normally end my posts with a blessing. Her is one reason why- It is the highest vibration most powerful action anyone can take because it is fully in alignment with the Source of all things. Here is a quote you might enjoy that gives another reason. "To bless means to wish, unconditionally, total, unrestricted good for others and events from the deepest wellspring in the inner most chamber of your heart: It means to hallow, to hold in reverence, to behold with utter awe, that which is always a gift from the Creator." The words are by Pierre Pradervand from his book The Gentle Art of Blessing. So my friends can you consistently give a blessing to everyone and everything in the world, even when it is hard, and even when those people have done things that are horrendous? Well I'll admit sometimes it is my life's biggest challange. I'm working on it though. Be a blessing to someone today. And always be blessed in all good things my friends

you know the ones I mean. from the time you get up in the morning, when its one of those days- its a major struggle to get anything done, people are just in crappy moods, andyou are having a really bad hair day. Yea we all have them. Thank goodness they are the exception rathr than the rule for most of us. When I am having "one of those kind of days" I try real hard to focus on what is good in my life, to face my fears and just plunge ahead, because otherwise I'll just be in a holding pattern of illusion and negativity. We always have challenges in our lives. the trick is not to let the challenge become so great an obstacle that we cannot move or think with any cohesion, any semblance of rationality. We need to always take a little time in our day to smell the flowers, breath deeply of the love of the Divine and know that we can do it. We can get past this and things will be a lot better soon.

I posted this at my ning site and wanted to share with you because we women have a much bigger impact than we think we do on the men in our lives and the rest of humanity --------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------- ---------- "You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty. M. Gandhi. Humanity as a whole is centerpoint/neutral just as the ocean as a whole is. Ghandi with his belief in the overall goodness/neutrality of humanity. He could not have foreseen a time when the majority of humans would be apathetic or hell bent on destroying the planet. He knew that as individuals we make the choice for peace or for war, that there would always be a few that did not live as the majority did and that these few did not taint humanity as a whole. Yet we all have a ph balance that is unique to us even though as a whole the species, like the planet is ph neutral. We each have a unique spiritual/emotional energy balance that gives humanity that neutral/centerpoint balance on the scale of our concept of good/evil, light/daark, law/chaos. Each of us like the drop of rain water that joins the ocean ceases to be an individual when looking at humanity as a whole Iaasic Asimov noted this phenomena in his definition of psychohistory the mathematics which determined the future destinies of humanity in his Foundation series novels. In the study of humanity as a whole, the actions of one or two seldom have such a powerful effect on such large masses as when Hitler decided to conquer the world and threw America and Europe into a war to determine global destiny. No person by himself carries enough pollution spiritually to taint the whole, yet when the mass consciousness of humanity is polluted the ocean of humanity is as toxic as our oceans have become through humanity's carelessness concerning wastes and chemicals, oil spills etc. We can each of us make a difference because we are interconnected just like that drop of water when it joins the ocean is interconnected to the whole. lets all give a hug to someone today and think about all the people we touch in spirit and over the net, sending love to the entire planet.Let's all of us drops of water make our ocean of humanity cleaner and healthier in this way and visualize this being carried over to the oceans that nurture our planet for the oceans, lakes and rivers are the life blood of our Mother Earth. And always be blessed in all good things my dear fri

one of my favorite sayings about life is "life is a river and death only the watershed to the life beyond." Today I added something new to this. "you can change your life destiny the way you can change a river. 3 ways to change the course of a river are build a dam, gets dammed by an avalanche, or floods due to glacial melt or heavy rains. When you change your life by your thoughts, words and actions its you building the dam. When you let others do it then its getting dammed up by the avalanche. When circumstances out of your control but still nature do it then its the floods." Is your life being shaped by you, someone else, or by circumstance? Be a river with a purpose, a course you choose. YOu are divine, you have the power, knowledge, wisdom and ability to do so. be blessed in all good things dear braveheart women!

Today is Earth Day. All of my life I have been interested in trying to save our ecological balance, in conservation and preservation of our planet's resorces, so Earth day has always been very special to me. All year long I try to be energy conscious, keep my neighborhood litter free and I work toward replanting trees and other plants that help prevent soil erosion. Earth Day always gives me more amunition to keep me trying to make everyone aware of what we are doing to the planet. Today I watched Oprah and was shocked by the size the garbage swirl in the Pacific Ocean had grown to, by how deep our landfills are becoming with the sheer weight of our garbage. In The Pacific stretching from The coast of California to Japan is a vast reef swirl formed of trash, mostly plastics, like bags, can rings, bottles and bottle caps sometimes more than 90 feet deep. This is killing the birds and animals in the sea when they get tangled in it, the fish and whales are eating it because it is killing the plankton with the emmisions of dioxins and other greenhouse gases as the salt water combines with the plastic in decomposition. Only plastic can take hundreds of years before it totally decomposes, depending on the type of plastic. And all our oceans have a garbage swirl. Add to this pollution we have over harvested our oceans for years and this is depleting our largest food supply. Suggestions of things we can do to help include- buy biodegradable packaged products whenever possible, do without meats one day a week (meat packaging is notorious for its plastic and Styrofoam packaging) just doing one vegetarian day a week will save quite a few pounds of toxic packaging from reaching landfills and the oceans from being blown about after littering the streets and parks. Planting using biodegradable pots eliminates all the pots that get thrown out after the plant dies- and reuse and recycle everything possible. Those plastic pots can be washed and reused for new plants for a long time. How many of us use printers in our everyday life? those ink cartridges can be refilled several times over and cut down on more plastics being thrown away to fill those landfills. and these are just a few ways we can help. Please join me in making every day EARTH DAY.

I would like to introduce myself and thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of this beautiful global community. I am a lifelong light worker, and life long learner. I have chosen to be a person without limits, to live outside the box of being a traditional woman with a traditional role for her life. Some of this was not by choice, it came about in the course of circumstances in my life that I had little if any control over. It took me many years to attain a positive self image and to believe in myself. Eventually I walked many religious paths Christian, Jewish, various Pagan or non traditional religions until I learned that my spiritual connection to the Divine could not be determined or limited by religion as such. Still deeply spiritual and continuing many of the practices I learned in these religions I have found a peace and a joy that I did not have within the confines of religion. I am a liscensed ULC Clergy, a former Arch Druid in the Missionary Order of the Celtic Cross (RDNA) and HPS of a Druidic Wiccan order I founded. The order I founded has since been disbanded a year ago when I went on sabbatical and most of the members moved to different towns. I felt the need at that time to begin working in my true niche as a light worker. too many people were telling me I should become a life coach or inspirational speaker. So I began to pray and meditate and it seemed as if this was where the Divine was leading me. the members of my small Pagan order still wanted to gather together and discuss the things we were learning and sharing and so I created a website with the ultimate goal of helping others raise their energy vibrations out of despair into LOVE, and to discuss topics associated with spiritual and personal development. My website http://lightoftheascensiondream.ning.com/ is the result Although I am not necessarilly any sort of Leader spiritually or materially in my own eyes I seem to have been destined to be a trendsetter and leader of at least small groups of men and women and be found worth listening to. Thus I am following my dream. I hope that by being part of such a global community as Brave Heart Women I can achieve these goals and hone the skills I already have. Be blessed in all good things my friends .
