A battle is raging inside of me. It is good versus evil, yin/yang, plus versus minus, salt/pepper.
On one side is inspiration and motivation
On the other is resistance and doubt.
Positive virtues waged against negative patterns.
Not allowed to gain forward momentum,
Held back by my own devices.
A war between wit and will,
Who shall win?
It is my choice, which side I participate in.
With the powers of faith, hope, belief in myself,
A positive attitude, and optimism
One can squelch the fires of failure, pessimism and defeat
Extinguish the hopelessness and begin a new day.
All with one choice.
As with the rising of the sun I choose my day, my life, my future.
Be bold, be brave, Go forward, and March on.
You cannot climb a staircase without taking a step up.
