Hello Braveheart Sisters,

Well it's that time of year again where its the official start of summer. Wow where has the time gone?

What is the true meaning of this holiday? It is a holiday where we honor our veterans that gave their lives for our freedom and we honor the ones who are still serving today.

Don't get me wrong, I like the beach, amusement parks, barbeq. family and friends... but lets not forget our troops.

Have a good holiday weekend be safe my sisters.

Love and Peace

Hello Ladies,

Its been so long since I blogged I've been so tired from work. The only thing I was doing was reading blogs, taking care of my family and sleeping.

Anyway here's quote from Grandma Moses......

Life is what we make it. Always has been, always will be.

I'm always saying the first part of this quote all the time. Life is what we make it. I always add that if you don't like your life you have the power to change it.

We have the creative ability to change whatever we want.

Hello BHS,

A short quote I hope you ladies enjoy.

A champion is someone who gets up, even when he can't.
- Jack Dempsey

We often look at a champion as someone who wins at a sports event or a competitionin academics.

Today I believe that there is a champion in each and every BHS woman!

Have a great day!:-x

Hello Ladies,

A quote from Mary Anne Rodmacher-Healey......

Courage doesn't always roar
Courage sometimes is the little voice at the end of the day.

We learn courage by each experience in life. It's good to plan a head but I've learned to take one day at a time.

With Love,:-x

Hello BHS,

A quote from Mahatma Gandhi......

What you do may seem insignificant but it's important that you do it.

I've learned that no matter how small the task is it's important because we could be helping someone and do even know it.

It could be a smile, hug, or just going to visit someone when there sick. But whatever we do isn't insignificant every little bit helps.:-x

Hello BHS,

When I read this quote I thought it was so beautiful I had to share it with my sisters. I hope you find it uplifting.

When things go wrong...
When things go wrong as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
Success is failure turned inside out,
The silver tint on the clouds of doubt,
And you can never tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems afar.
So, stick to the fight when you're hardest hit
It's when things go wrong that you mustn't quit.
—Unknown

Keep the faith ladies and never give up the good fight.
My favorite part of this quote is Success is failure turned inside out.

Hello BHS,

What does the quote "To thine own self be true" mean to you?

To me it means to always be truthful to yourself and never lie to yourself. And that the truth shall set you free.

What does it mean to you ladies?

Good Evening Ladies,

Quote from Norman Vincent Peale.....

Change your thoughts, and you change your world

This quote is true to me because you need to watch your thoughts. If you think negative you bring negativity to you. Think positve and good things will come your way.

I'm chosing this evening to change my thoughts inorder to change my world for the better.

Hello Ladies,

A couple of weeks ago, I attended a seminar about Making Peace with your Past. It was for woman only cause you all know we have alot of issues.

Anyway we all have purpose and a destiny to reach in life. The woman who spoke at the series, stated that the only way to reach our purpose/destiny in life was to go back and think about the past and what was holding us up from reaching where we needed to be.

Cassandra said "she knew that we didn't want to go back there and face it "but with God's help he'd bring us through it. The next step was to do an exercise. We all wrote down on paper a list of things that happened in the past and we where going to bury them because we know once something is buried its final.

Here the crazy part she brought in a homemade casket and had every woman in the room place the paper in the casket. I couldn't believe my eyes. Then we shut the casket. It was a symbolic exercise of facing our issues from the past making peace with them and letting them go.

I came home knowing that I will let nothing or no one stop me from reaching my destiny or purpose in life!

Hello Ladies,

Quote for today from Arsene Wenger....

To acheive great things you have to believe it.

What is this site all about? Its about Ellie wanting to inspire and empower woman to reach and achieve our goals in our lives. Then we can show not only woman but children and others do the same.

But first we have to believe. Have a great day.:-x

Hello Ladies,

Here is a quote from Henry Miller on love....

The one thing we can never get enough of is love. And the one thing we can never give enough of its love.:-x

We always want to be loved and feel loved. Think about how much love to we actually give out?

I'm putting on my list of thinks to do- to love more.:-x

Hello Ladies,

More than half of the year is gone. When a new year comes in we always talk about having a good year.

I think we should focus on something different. Here
is a quote from G.K. Chesterton.....

The object of a New Year is not that we should have a new year. It's that we should have a new soul.

I totatly agree 100%:-x

What do you ladies think?

Have a Good Afternoon:-x

Hi Ladies,

Here is a quote from Melba Colgrove...
Feel the Smile Inside. "Joy is the feeling of grinning inside."

According to webster joy is the excitement or pleasureable feeling caused by acquisition or exceptation of good; gladness etc. To rejoice or be glad.

I like this quote because it's saying joy comes from the inside out. :-x

I feel so much joy when I look at my children, hubby and especially when I wake up each day. I get another chance to accomplish the things that I didn't do yesterday. :-x

What brings you joy?

With Love
