I have become very clear about something I feel is extremely important World Peace. This is not to be confused with a bumper sticker I saw some years ago which said, 'Visualize Whirled Peas.' I mean real Global Peace where it is understood by every man, woman and child that Love is the Force Field of Realignment. Love IS the answer. Love IS.
At the 2009 Peace Summit in Vancouver, the Dalai Lama said, "The world will be saved by the Western Woman." When I first heard this, my ego had a field day! 'Oh yeah - we are strong and powerful and soooooo smart - we're going save the world...' I pictured all the women of the Western world standing on soap boxes, running their corporations, holding summits - all of this with such clarity and force that all the men suddenly drop their guns and say, "Wow - they are SO right. I just never thought of it that way..." Oh yeah....
This of course presupposes that it is the men who are causing all the dissension in the first place. Hmmmm... I wonder if women are putting any energy into the world that might contribute to the global unrest and disharmony? What do you think?!
I see that ego is in part responsible for the ‘state of the union’. We must put our egos aside ladies. We must stop competing with each other and begin to collaborate. And we must look within ourselves and heal what is not at rest in our own hearts. Then we can look into our sister’s eyes and say, “I know you as I know myself, and I love you.” When this authentic and deep connection is made, we shift the energy on this planet, and we stand in our power as women. The Dalai Lama believes that women, with our nurturing instinct, are naturally more compassionate. But we have not brought this compassion to each other or to ourselves.
So many women have told me they hate the sound of their own voice. This saddens me because I know the voice is the audible representation of the inner climate. This self hatred can only spawn more hatred, specifically to other women. In many cases it is at a low level and goes undetected – under the radar. Dear God , What is the energy we are contributing to the Universe?
This is why I am so excited by the BraveHeart Women global peace initiative called The Oxytocin Project. It is gathering Western women together to connect viscerally and bring about a deep collaboration between all women. We will then exert our sphere of influence into the masculine environment from a standpoint of peace and unity. I believe our influence is far more potent that we realize every dictator, every terrorist, every gun wielding soldier has, somewhere in his life, a woman’s arms that he crawls into to find a moment of peace. That woman must find her voice!
This is why I am so committed to working with women – helping them learn to love their voice and speak with the authority that comes from authenticity The voice of Love. It is a gift to me to work with you, so thank you in advance for serving me in this way.
