I wanted my first blog post to be profound and articulate. So, in my mind I ran through many scenarios of the right topic to blog about, and I thought about the right words that would best express my thoughts; but, somehow the words did not make their way from my mind to the page. I also told myself that I really did not want to add blogging to my very demanding and busy life because, most certainly, the last thing that I needed was something else to 'manage'. Well, the voices in my head won...for a while.
Now, I have taken action and am posting my first blog on the BraveHeart Women site. I have released the notion of saying something profound and have replaced it with a KISS. How liberating to know that the K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Sweetheart) approach is just fine.
So, my message is simple: I am Yvonne Landon, and I am happy to be showing up to claim and share my voice as a BraveHeart woman.
