My vocational direction has taken a complete “one-eighty”-a path altering life-change that might appear to be sudden to some, but, when examined has been in the making for many, many years. I could no longer continue to deny who I was, or what I had been called to do.
In Parker J. Palmer’s book, Let Your Life Speak-he writes, “Our deepest calling is to grow into our own authentic selfhood, whether or not it conforms to some image of who we ought to be.”
I have made that turn into authentic selfhood. And in doing that I am directed into a life that makes my heart sing--and where I can help others do the same.
