I am so excited about a collaborative book project I am working on with a group of women photographers from around the world..This project was originally developed by a women from India, and has been developed further with the help of women from Israel, India, California, Washington and New York. I one of five on the leadership committee. The book is about women, moments, lifestyles and celebrations in the 21st century, from around the world. If we can market this book properly and make a million dollars we could really make a differance donating to a trust worthy cause. BraveHeart We'll need a publisher, an internet marketer, a social networker and a lawyer. It was great meeting all of you at RISE! Collaboration is a wonderful idea. The networking aspect of Brave Heart Women is very exciting. My best friend and myself need to make enough to support ourselves. However, her first love is doing missions in Nicaragua and we have been using our business to raise money for her mission she is presently on for two weeks. I need some collaborators to help me locate women who were in the military all or some of the years 1976-1983. I am trying preserve the history of this era when the Women's Army Corps was disbanded and women were being integrated directly in the regular Army. Little has been done to document this transition. I am collecting interviews of the women by telephone or in person and each woman receives a copy of her own interview on a CD. All I require is releases to archive and use the material for an eventual book. Thanks everyone. jafarringer@gmail.com, Chapel Hill, NC |
