This is part of performance called "Debras Closet"...You Dont See Me! It became part of the " Debra fell in the Fishbowl" show. This photo was taken at the Parkwest in Chicago. It is a very large venue. The show had gotten quite large. I had 70 people involved one way of another that night. I learned so much that particular show, that particular night. I am certain to write about it. A few of the lessons continue to serve me today. Anyway, these were large closets I made. They walked on stage. The women came out in well you see the get up. The music was sooooooo cool for this one too. My sister Donna was one of the closets. They had trouble getting on stage. I remember hearing the producer in my headset screaming "get those closets on the stage now!" One girl kept getting caught in the curtain. She then got disoriented and almost walked right off the stage. When she came out of her closet, she was looking around like ...where the heck am? I am cracking up as I write this. Jennifer was her name. I can picture her with that wig turned around cuz it was loose..... so she really couldn't see either when she came out of the closet....now that's funny...out of the closet.
