It was in the darkest years of my life that I was intuitively guided to Dr Maya Angelou writtings. You gave me courage to keep going, inspiration to pursue my personal development and hope which comforted my dark nights. Though we have never met from across the glob in the finest of prints you became the mother I never knew and my spiritual mentor. To this day I give thanks and praise the lord for pointing me toward his beacon of light and instrument of hope within you.

I just want to add that an hour ago, I discovered and sind up for Brave Heart Woman. It is an extreme to see that you had Ms Angelou to be acknowledged in such a beautiful manner. She is worhty of every possible honor now and forever. God Bless You Ms. Angelous and the same to those who honored you.
I have always been zealous in my attention to Dr. Maya Angelou...over the last 15 years of my blosoming... as a Poet, Journalist and Spiritual Writer. Today, I thoroughly enjoyed watching her here on BraveHeart TV; and listening to her infamous voice, as she spoke in her "Acceptance" speech; for the BraveHeart Women Award. She is truly a remarkable woman, and the exemplification of the "continuous courage" (she speaks in the poem she recited); the strength and beauty to express her inner peace, and seasons of wisdom with others, over the course of her adult life. What a life-time inspiration to us all. Congratulations, Maya! * My dream is for you to recite one of my poems* ! What a blessing of inspiration you are ...and I will believe in this dream... come true!

I have met Dr.Maya Angelou in person thanks to my teen daughter some years back! She radiates such sweet inner beauty, and it flows like honey from her mouth. She is largely responsible for the courage I now have in exposing my own poetry to the world!
God Bless this beautiful Angel Dr. Maya Angelou! We have so much yet to learn from you. I am so proud to be able to walk this earth the same time as you and to be able to listen to and read your wise and inspiring words. You are truly a gift from God above to all women on earth today.
