Hi, my name is Vickie and I am in a Major Life Transition at the moment!! It's exciting and scary at the same time!
In November of 2008 I lost my job and have not been able to find another one ever since. I live in Michigan and jobs are hard to come by in this State.
My daughter owns a condo in Florida that is furnished but which has sat empty for the past 3 years as she lives up here in Michigan. She knows how much I dislike Michigan winters and offered me a chance to rent her condo from her and see if I could find work down there. I jumped at the chance!!
On the 15th of this month I will head down there with nothing more than my clothes, my dog and my cat and family photos/important papers and that's it! I have never done anything like this before in my life!!! Am I scared? Not really. Excited more than anything else. I have needed something like this to happen for a long time.
So, that's a little of my life right now. I am here to make new friends and learn some new things! I am a nature lover, a journal writer, I love to blog, live a healthy lifestyle and am big into Spirituality. I also love going to garage sales, flea markets, consignment shops, concerts, movies and making new friends.
I look forward to learning new things on this website and meeting new people!
