Hi,
My name is Bonnie and I am a 46 yr old mother and wife and I am looking to find my purpose and my passion. I stumbled upon the site and I am so hopeful in connecting with some wonderful and inspiring women. I currently have an all natural, aromatherapy cleaning business which I am looking to get out of so that I may do my lifes work which will make my heart sing. I just dont know yet what that is.

Hi , I'm Sandy and I live in Kentucky and I look forward to meeting other women who are trying to make a difference in this world . I am married with two children . Have worked EMS for 18 years paramedic . We as women are a great advocate for each other .

Hi, I'm Deb and I live in Bay City Michigan. I am interested in developing a cancer retreat in the northern community of Michigan but am having a bit of trouble staying focused. I facilitate a breast cancer education/support group and have sought a couple of certifications to assure I don't lie or inadvertantly give the wrong answers to others. It's a passion of mine and I would never forgive myself if I screwed someone else up. I'm a 10 year survivor with recent diagnosis of mets to the bone etc. I am doing very well, and hope to show others they can too if they keep the right perspective.

WHAT ARE FRIENDS FOR BUT TO LAUGH AND TO TOUCH... and to express in their own way a friendship that means so much. However, sentiments go unspoken... touching each other... there is no such. How did I ever get the notion that touching was too much? So how do I say "I love you" to my dying friend. It's in the smile that lights my eyes. Yet the urge to reach out and touch her... I tried quickly to disguise. But in my heart, I realized I truly loved my friend. No way had I anticipated that her life was near its end. Much too soon the diagnosis was revealed. By the doctors... she would not be healed. It's now or never... I throw caution to the wind. Gently, I reach out and touch my beautiful friend. Softly, a sigh slips from her lips as she melts beneath my finger tips. Purring, she melts from my touch... From my family, I had grown up with the notion that "touching" was too much.
In my family, 9 kids, affection was a rare commodity... RAINBOWS OF BLESSINGS TO EACH AND EVERYONE! Send spiritual hugs... I'll return 'em to you Jo Ann

My name is Deborah and I live in Mt. Dora Florida. I am an artist and cancer survivor. Some days I know are going to be special in some way and so it was the day I found the braveheartwomen web site. I am inspired by all of you and look forward to joining the discussions!
In 2006 I was diagnosed with DCIS and subsequently underwent a bilateral mastectomy. I will state emphatically that a diagnosis of a life-threatening illness is a life-changing event! Facing breast cancer was not an event in my life that I ever imagined I would have to challenge. But I faced this dangerous journey with the goal of completing a specific drawing that I dreamed about while recovering. As soon as I could, I sat at my drawing table and created "Energy Flow," a drawing that has become the logo of my small company dedicated to assisting those faced with life-threatening illness.
"Energy Flow" helped me creatively visualize my own recovery. Through positive energy and visualization I was up and feeling a new vitality and outlook on life that I had not felt in a long time. Through positive energy and visualization you CAN accomplish miraculous things!
I hope that you will add me as a friend and check out my profile. Please let me know what you feel and think when you look at "Energy Flow."

As I mentioned in the subject line, I'm Rita and I live in Southern California. I look forward to networking with like-minded women.
I have been an entrepreneur for 8 years offering virtual assistant services. As an entrepreneur I feel it's my responsibility to give back to my community. How I purpose to do this is to work with women in shelters training them to be entrepreneurs; as a result, becoming empowered.
I hope to learn from this community tips and suggestions as to how to manifest this vision. Glad to be here.

Hi, I'm Monica and I live in Harper Woods, MI and I look forward to networking with such a wonderful group of women! Currently I am a full-time PHd student studying technology and entrepreneurship. I am expected to graduate this winter if all goes well. I am also a small business owner of a newly formed company, Expressions of Elegance LLC & M Harris Consulting Group as a child company. I study and practice positive thinking and at times find it difficult to stay focused, because I am human. But for the most part it has helped me lead a wonderful life, along with God as the head of my life.
I have sought to connect with like minded women and find it difficult to find groups that were active. I have lurked for a few months to monitor the activity and find the group very rewarding and inspiring.
I am also married to a wonderful and supportive man and have four children--all boys ages 23, 20, 19, and 8. My boys challenge me daily to become a better person.
My future goals is to become a professor and researcher at an university. I also want to write a book and become a motivational speaker. I love teaching and helping people achieve their goals and also share my knowledge to help them along. I was excited to see such active and motivated women and am now ready to roll up my sleeves and join in. Thanks for inspiring me to reach higher levels. Monica

Hi, I'm Susanna and I live in Round Rock, Texas, which is just North of Austin. I look forward to networking with and learning from the wonderful "Braveheart" women that are giving of their time and talents to help us all be the best we can be.
I am a real estate Broker associate with Sellstate Classic Realty and I specialize in listing REO (real estate owned) foreclosure properties. I also work with sellers and buyers that are referred to me.
I'm very active as a local and state member of the Women's Council of REALTORS and on the Board of Directors for my local association in Williamson County.
My husband and I serve on the Worship Arts Ministry at our church and also serve as VBS coordinators on mission trips.
I'm really looking forward to learning how to balance my life better - for God's glory.
