Hello, I'm Carolyn Douglas and I live in Richmond, California. I look forward to being "my greatest yet to be person." I am so enthused about the purpose, worth, and content of this community that I see myself sitting at the feet of powerful, strong women. I look forward to learning and collaborating with the women here. I am ready to shift my approach to doing business and life through greater use of the feminine energy.
Currently, I have two satisfying careers: an environmental scientist and a spirituality teacher. My leaning toward teaching is getting stronger. So I am ready to breakthrough my own glass ceiling to have greater prosperity, better relationships, and new freedom of expression.

I am new to this community as well, and so thrilled to be making the connections.
I choose to spell Sister with an 'a' instead because we are all Stars. So Sistar, welcome.
Kathy, I feel the pain you have been through. The first thing that came to me is that it is time for you to release the battle. it is time to surrender, and receive. There is so much love and support here on this site to help you do that. Hi,
I just joined this wonderful community of brave heart women I am excited to be a part of it. I am originally from Chile, but live in Utah now. I am an entrepreneur who is always looking to be surrounded by great people that I can learn from. I feel I can learn so much for all the wonderful women here in this space.

Hi, I'm Kathy and I live in Indianapolis, Indiana and I look forward to continuing on coming out of my cocoon turning into the best that I am to be. I am married. We have been married for four and a half years. We have four grown children and a multitude of grandchildren between us. We are Pastors of our newly formed one and a half year ministry. We have a painting and drywall business, and I have a business. The thing is I have not been able to put what is needed into my business to make it do anything. I am also working on my BA in English. I am turning my attention to my own business. One of my enterprises is Public Relations. I have to do this for me. I have spent so much of my life pouring into others, I have left very little to my self. When the dust clears after a battle, I usually find it is just me and my God alone. My husband is beginning to enter in. I look around for what is mine only to find wishes, broken dreams, and I should haves...I have decided it is my time. I know how to battle for survival. I did not learn how afterwards clean up to be girly in spirit and take care of myself as a child, only survive. Things I should have learned naturally, well, I missed that growth season. I was in a drought and famine. I have been breaking up the hard ground to replant my field. I am here trying to find the right seeds. It is my time to cultivate and bloom.

Hi Judy, I read your post. It is a point I once went through. My whole marriage to him from start to finish was a disaster. I was so shamed and humiliated that I hit rock bottom. I could not hold my head up even by myself. But I found that bottom can be good. Laying there when I started to come to consciousness, I found rest. Rest from the striving trying to hold something together that had no substance to be held together. I found wisdom looking at how I had come to be in that whole relationship. And most of all, what was needed in me to be healed from that I would have allowed my self to be with someone like him. I had to turn it all around so I could get up a better me, than to let someone I had given so much to. to break me down and destroy any part of me. When I came to realize that it was his loss and not mine, I could walk with a better swag. I saw him a few years ago at a funeral for his sister who had succumbed to cancer. He could not stop following me all over the funeral home. He realized what he threw away. Oh well! Too late--I was remarried. I am still married to someone who appreciates me. There is life after divorce. It is better life after that. What you have emptied out from giving to someone who throws it away, God replenishes and replaces one hundred-fold.. You will shake it off and re-invent a better you. Women are resilient like that. This is who we naturally are. We are the cycle of life. You are going to be grand. You are WOW-man!

Hi I'm Judy and I Live in Claresholm, AB, Canada. I am a Real Estate Broker by trade. I am divorced, no children, and just turned 40. I have worked full time at many different careers since I was 12. I love to be out in the public and helping others. I find over the last few months that I am at a cross roads in life, divorce is final, major turning point in my age, new relationship, sudden loss of a business partner, financial set backs, as I am sure many of you have or are experiencing these changes as well. I find I am in a constant negative space and am struggling to get out again and put a genuine smile on my face. So with that I want to THANK my lucky stars that I was at a ladies gathering last evening and one of the participants there happened to mention this group and the absolute empowerment it has given her. I decided right then and there that was a slap in the face to get on with it, move ahead, check these women out and become connected to a positive and live the life I have been so gratefully granted!!!!

I don't know if it is within me to inspire another; sure we all have it. I try to be an inspiration to my daughters, but who knows if that really ?
My girls are leaving the nest so what generally inspires me revolves around them. Now that they will be gone in about two months, I am at a crossroads for what to do, to think, to be, next.
I knew who I was, what I wanted out of life; house, family, kids. (Dog...can't forget the dog!) Just like my Mom.
Been there, done that. Now what?

Hi, I'm Angie and I live in Florida and I look forward to inspiring others with my story. My story is my own story and with time my Brave Heart will lead me forward. There are many who have inspiried me along the way and by living in my truth "Today " this heart is begining to free myself from pain. By going inward are the signs coming out.. Guided only by my light and my bravery will this vessel/being free hereself from "bondage" and begin a "new" on this site. Out with the old in with new, looking forward to meeting and sharing my story and gaining more wisdom so, once more (as a collective whole) "WE" will raise myself/yourself to Thy ultimate Love. gaining wisdom from listening to the amazing life experiences of the BraveHeart Women. And I hope when I share some of my experiences others will gain insight in some area of their life.
This seems to be a great forum to meet and make new friends. I have been divorced several years, children have moved out to make their mark on the world and I find myself out of touch and akward with friend couples from the past. So I guess I'm starting a new phase in my life.
I know it's going to be a great phase!

Hi, I'm Tiffany and I live in Al, I look forward to... finding new friends. I lost my mom/bf 12 yrs. ago and really have no girl friends to talk to when I need a friend. So I saw the advertisement for BHW on God vine and thought I would check it out...Love to all who read it, Tiffany
