Gabriela,

Do you know if there is an English version of this video posted on YouTube? I looked but couldn't find one.

Regards,
Lin

Fibromyalgia is overwhelming and painful; BUT, there is RELIEF - Microcurrent Therapy- it is painfree, non invasive and extremely effective - 90% of all conditions are resolved within a month of following the protocol.
I work with the Thorp certified accuscope and myopulse using the Thorp Institutes training protocols and have seen miraculous results with this and many, many other conditions because it regenerates the cells of the body and facilitates the bodies own ability to heal - toxins are flushed from the body and nutrients are able to flow to areas of blockage... it is amazing stuff ... here is a website to check out or email me for more information on finding a practitioner near you.
Your body wants to be well...lets help facilitate that

I was exposed to a long list of toxins in a SICK BUILDING, and have learned a few lessons about how my body works AFTER EXPOSURE ! I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 1994. What I have found is that I MUST limit the number of exposures I present myself with ~ Like water in a glass, if I am exposed to TOO MUCH, ie. fragrances, gas fumes, dryer sheets, soft plastics, my body suffers. My suggestion is : Limit your exposures ... use less toxic products. We now live in highly toxic world, and must learn to protect ourselves. I myself am a "canary" and spend a lot of time in my bedroom which I altered in the way that Dr. Rae from Dallas Texas suggests. His site is: http://www.ehcd.com/ ~ I do not see him, because I do not like the idea of using antigen treatments - that is being injected with the things I react to.
Really, for me, it comes down to limiting toxic exposures.

Such a painful disease, and I am so sorry you are going through this. Hang in there. Stay strong of mind and that will also help your body heal.

I used to have this problem.

That being said, I want to second the comment about seeing a chiropractor. If you're unsure about chiropractic or you don't have a chiropractor of your own that works on this, you might find one who has a reputation for getting results with fibromyalgia.

Chiropractic adjustments will help boost your immune system and help your nervous system move towards proper functioning. Add to that their recommendations of dietary and lifestyle changes, and the chances are great that you will enjoy sleep and touch again.

Best of luck. So many people suffer from this. Please let us know how things go.

Been awhile since I replied to this topic. Do Not suffer from this dis-ease anymore. I have found through my research and applications that it is linked to the lymphatic system, which has no pump.
Without the movement of the "Silent Wave," congestion moves into the interstial tissue and causes pain from touch, and movement. Joints are effected, and can be mis-diagnosed as arthritis.
I am free from this dysfunction.....due to keeping my body less acidic,(an internal environment in which degenerative diseases thrive), and "dry-brushing" which takes courage when your skin receptors are stuck in the "ON" position. And the ball chair that keeps me from compressing my diaphram, which in turn keeps my internal rhythm in "fight or flight," or synaply sloggish.
Expand your intuition, and don't let the doctors get you "stuck" in a repetitive mental loop. Muscle memory can be "reset." And the nervous system can find balance through function.

Thank you so for being a part of our community and for offering me and all of us here your wisdom and your light.
For those suffering from this condition, I have battled SLE for over 2 decades. Fibromyalgia is a component or a residual disorder, along with Raynaud's and Sceroderma.

As a medical researcher and writer, I welcome alternative treatmentments for chronic diseases. Western medicine is great for Emergency treatment. As for chronic care, long term treatment of illnesses, or preventative care, the patient (or individual) must take the initiative in self education.

I welcome all to refer to my blog of May 3, 2010 where I list various points of references from respected organizations to medical reasearch centers who are taking the lead in integrated medicine. This is not to replace remedical advice but to empower you with information so that you can make a better decision regarding your treatment plan. There are also a list of many support groups who provide free literature and have free meetings in some towns.

Reiki, Yoga, diet, and a routine exercise plan that follows a rotation of changes to a) maintain interest and b) adapt to the individuals varying levels of day to day pain level will make a tremendous difference in the quality of life.

Avoiding Isolation and remaining engaged is another challenge for those with this difficulty. "Brain Fog" or lack of mental clarity often accompanies this illness and now research indicates that it may be more neurologically based than rheumatological.

Till all the science is sorted out, we must make the best of it and share what we know. We must also share of each other's wisdom.

My partner is a Chiropractor and a Wellness Consultant.. she is highly trained and successful helping people with fibro m she is in Schererville Indiana and part of a Nation wide non profit foundation for wellness professionals ... many of her colleges around the nation are also successful with this problem. Sometimes it is fibro but often times that is just a symptom of much more going on with the communication of the nerves.

My Partner does Free Wellness Screenings for any who are in need in INDIANA.

Also thanks for the aloe juice tip... Iwill try that for other ache issues I have.

ps. Just wanted to add to my previous post on fibromyalgia. When I said I benefited from massage therapy, I meant massage therapy from a therapist trained to work with fibromyalgia trigger points. It made a HUGE difference when I found someone who knew how to approach the delicate pain issues that can come with fibro. An untrained therapist might actually make it worse. Currently, I'm working for with folks at a local spa and the massage therapist there will sometimes suggest energy healing and balancing, such as Reiki, rather than or in addition to massage. Sometimes, energy healing can be as effective as any type of massage at relieving fibro pain.

I am terribly sorry for your pain but I may know of something that could help you I have had some joint pain myself, nothing as bad as yours but I was able to get rid of it by drinking Aloe Vera every day .

I have studied this plant and found some very interesting information about it eg: it only last for two hours after being cut from the plant. you can have a look at my facebook page called Cookin for Cures or you can go to my web site www.angiessmartbooks.com

An elderly friend who had extensive joint pain tried drinking Aloe Vera for a week and found his pain go and he now drinks the Aloe Vera all the time to keep his health good for the rest of his life

Hi there: From 1988 to around 1998, ten years total, I suffered from fibro pain. At times, my skin felt so raw that even a sheet touching me was too much. I have since realized that being a sensitive, someone who feels energy and the energetic fields of those around her, is part of the reason I had fibro to begin with.

It was part of my growth process as a spiritual being to be able to balance ultra-sensitivity and, even now, I do better some days than others, ha.

The other factors besides spiritual awareness and self-monitoring that I found helpful include aromatherapy, keeping my ph alkaline, being more creative, learning to express my truth with less timidity, massage and reflexology, trace minerals, MSM, homeopathic remedies and laughter.
