I am a master of Chikara-Reiki-Do and practice Emotional Freedom Technique (eft). I used eft in so many ways. I got rid of my neckpain due to tmj, fear of public speaking and other emotional issues.
I also use eft for distant healing and used it in group setting. Once you learn this technique you'll get relief from your emotional issue. This technique is easy to learn and you can use it anywhere you are.

Yes Reiki does distant healing.
So does prayer, angelic touch, touch for health, quantum touch, visualization as does damn powerful wishing.
Distant healing works because of the ONE energy. The form is just a way to help the healer to focus. Isn't wonderful that we have so many disciplines to choose from!
I have been a Reiki Master for 15 years. Please include me on the Friday Clinic without Walls.
Some of you healers may not be certified or formally trained. You heal nonetheless . If you have questions about form or such, just ask. For some things the Wise Ones have given answers, for others we can discover new forms together.

This is a great idea! I also took the Silva Method for distant healing which taught how to do this. I would love to do this with you; let's try it next Friday since I have appointments this Friday, Aug. 8th. Does Reiki also teach how to do distant energy healing?
