Wendy and her son killed the husband who had beaten them "Every (Bleeping) day of her life," to quote Wendy's comments to the 911 dispatcher she called. I cried for her and her children as I listened to their stories. No human beings should have to live with this level of fear and violence.
I hope that readers here will take the time to learn more about her. Facebook has a lot of information on her. One source is called "Free Wendy and Randy Maldonado."
Both she and her son, who, IMO, had terrible legal counsel, are now doing hard time in prison for their action, which they insist was the only way they could truly be free from this man's reach. You can also google Wendy Maldonado, or "One Minute To Nine," and learn more about the documentary and case.
If you share my feelings, and those of countless others, regarding the injustice of the Maldonado's prison sentences, you can write to Wendy and show your support: at the Coffee Creek Correctional Inst in Wilsonville, Oregon.
if you write her, always include her SID #15970170 and include your name and address on the envelope. Randall is at the Warner Creek Correctional Institution and his SID# is 15963617, same with your name and address.
You can also contact the Governor of Oregon and ask for his help by email at http:/

Again, please take the time to learn about this tragic story and, if you agree that justice has not been served, join many others in letting the Governor hear your voice.
Thanks in advance.
