Hi, my take on this topic is two fold:
1) For those who feel that if they spend money they will grow happy I think since each and everyone of us is on a journey, it is ok for them to spend money for that moment, however long or short, the experience of happiness they will feel.
2) Personally I do not need to spend money in order to grow happy. Happiness is something for me to create deep within. But if I choose to buy a beautiful comfortable car and I have money, it is for the enjoyment of the abundance given to me by the universe and this in turn makes me happy.

My adult children and I were talking recently and we discussed some of the best days we had were when we were so broke that we made up games when the electricity were shut off and when we shared food. I like my security now but I never want to forget the bridges that I had to cross over and I take nothing for granted except to always continue to be grateful. Well, of course not! That's obvious ... to some. As I know from personal experience, it's a cop out, a running away from one's self with expensive distractions or empty, calorific distractions.
The only true happiness can be found within but we don't always want to go there because it's so much work! And do I really want to deal with that now... Again, that's from personal experience.
But let's be real at the same time please. It's wonderful to spend money. I love spending money on beautiful things. It is a rush because you vibrate on that energetic level when you are having fun spending money. When you don't, then don't spend!

hello
thanks for your nice topic
i think that money can not get happiness for its owner
according to some people happiness mean satisfactoin for themselves and for the world around them
and some peple find happiness in their love to the other
so money can not get health , can not get love . and can not get satisfaction.

Well....I am replying to myself....again....
I have started some self improvement programs...and actually they do work
I came to realise this week that it is when I did not take a step that I did not change or improved my life....
and every time I went to a workshop or read a book or else I had big breakthrought...
And even if my wonder is why there are so many things now going out about becoming millionnaire
that might be that it is what people are looking for..and may be part of growth?
And just think I have to be aware of what I do and choose properly and do things just one step after an other
Just want to add that people have to be aware and do things in a conscious way..and not get into the energy..of doing this and that...happiness is really nowhere than inside ourself

Hi, I reply to myself ....I know... hahaha but I might turn my question in a different way is all that way of seeing things could be my old me trying to old me back...when I took a big step on my personal growth? Some how...I beleive that to change and be happy sometimes we just need to look really inside ourself...there we get answers..not always...do we need to spend so much money.....
