WATER!

WATER!

Hi, I just want to promote a cause I think few people are aware of: UNICEF's TapProject. The goal here is to provide clean water to children around the globe. What could be more basic than water? The TapProject has tried to get support by supplying cards the size of business cards to restaurants who are willing to participate, to ask the customer for a contribution of $1 for the glass of water at their place on the table. Unfortunately, where I live in Northern California (Sacramento area), there is only one restaurant participating. I'm a psychologist and author and my book is available on my website, as well as T-Shirts promoting the book, a friend's business "Danny Dreads" and the slogan on the shirt "Water your Dreams" is for the TapProject. $1 dollar from the sale of any of these items will be donated to the Project. Please take a look, or just donate yourself at www.thetapproject.org. Thanks!

Water is truly crucial. A friend of mine, Rick Ulfik, is heading a Water Initiative, based in NYC, so perhaps we can all collaborate. His site is www.WE.net. Tell him Audrye sent you. I'll be in the city Apr 19-29. Are we allowed to post our phone numbers here? I'm at 917 494 0628.

We still have to drink water even while we create ways to clean the planet's water. So, I leanred about alkalinity, ionization, micro-clustered Water, and now I'm an Enagic Kangen Water (R) Distributor. This water creates such shift in people's bodies that people are healing themselves of cancer, high blood pressure, acid reflux, shingles, brain disorders and more. Kids have had improvement with autism. To learn more, go to www.GoddessHeartWater.com .

While this certainly is no substitute for cleaning up our planet, Enagic Kangen Water (R) does bring health and wellness.

I have not seen what you are discussing in any of the restaurants I frequent. I am pretty much a Raw Food Vegan, with the occasional croissant and other suchlike stuff. I'll reread your post.

Get in touch with Rick. Call me. We are the ones who make the difference.

Blessings,

Audrye

I think WATER is a fabulous cause to support. We are rapidly running out of fresh water on the planet and need to preserve this precious resource to preserve our precious watery selves!!!!

Maude Barlow who is the president of the Council of Canadians here in Canada, and others, is telling us that last year alone people drank so many bottles of commercial bottled water, that plastic bottles of a small size would fit end to end to the moon and back 65 times with just the number of bottles drunk in one year!!!! 65 times, not a misprint!

What do we do? Communicate with our municipalities to demand good water quality maintenance for tap water, and do all we can to protect streams, storm sewers, lakes and oceans from our pollutions.

Thank you to Kathryn for bringing up this crucial topic.

Gratefully,
Fiona
