Define your GOALS for 2011

Define your GOALS for 2011

Research shows that having clear, specific goals, in writing, increases your chances of success. The new year upon us presents an opportunity to start fresh and think about what we really want out of life.

At the beginning of each year, I take time to define both personal (spiritual, family, health, etc.) and business (financial, investment, etc.) goals. I then post these goals in my home office, where I am reminded of them, throughout the year.

Perhaps, we can each share some of our goals here and help keep one another focused to take action and produce results!

Here's to making 2011 the best year yet!!!

Sounds great, etorrance! I particularly like the HAVE FUN part. At times, that can be easy to forget. :)

So we are nearly half way through May now. How is everyone progressing? What Action have you taken?

We purchased two new homes and now have 2 up for sale (would like to see some ACTION on the SALE front)!

I finished Jen Groover's 'What If & Why Not' - a great book for anyone just starting out in business, facing fears about launching.

Moved on to a book about Fashion Accessories - part of a series of small business books, produced by Entreprenuer Magazine. GREAT, industry specific, tips on launching a new business!

OK, I'll join in....

Work through my fear of putting myself out there professionally.

- this is still a work in progress but I've done a few free calls that were a blast to do and am working on doing more.

Launch and fill 3 group programs

Remember to just be who I am and stop trying to fit into a mold that isn't authentic to me.

And most important of all....HAVE FUN!

With Laughter and Magic,

Elaine

Great stuff, ladies!

We are now more than 1/4 into 2011. How are things going so far?

Here are a few updates for me:

-- Buy/Sell (flip) 7 properties in Philadelphia -

Sold one property, bought one property. Have one up for sale and another under construction.

-- Increase monthly revenue (rental income) on FL properties by 5%

Rentals were stable first quarter - very few vacancies and expenses relatively low.

-- Read 6 new business/marketing books

Completed one book ('The Millionaire Fastlane' (highly recommend) and reading 'What If & Why Not', by Jen Groover

-- Launch/Acquire one small business

Nothing moving here yet but have some ideas!

-- Run 3-5 miles twice weekly

Running is out. Twisted knee :( Hitting the weights instead!

-- Yoga practice once weekly

Does stretching after weights count?

-- Travel to a country which I have not yet been

Brussels planned for the Fall

How are things going with everyone else?? :)

Take action only when motivated from inspiration and joy.

Release negative language from my thoughts and my words.

Make decisions from the internal space that knows continuing with any goal or project that isn't flowing is counter-productive, regardless of personal attachment or ego investments in it.

Laugh out loud every day, at least once.

Speak my authentic truth.

Remember who I AM

My 2011 goals:

Enable 10 more women to become more financially independent.

Reach level of RVP in my company and earn my Mercedes by 12/31/11

Visit my grandchildren in Vermont every 2 months or more often.

Enable my husband to work only 5 days/week.

Help 5 new people each month use safer products and feel better
