Are you Feeling Stuck, Overwhelmed...All of the Above?

Are you Feeling Stuck, Overwhelmed...All of the Above? Hi, It’s Rosalyn. I've been here before. It easy to feel this when you're trying to change course and start your own business. I would like to offer a few tips for moving forward in your business.

1.Spend 2-4 hours everyday marketing your business. You can have a great product and Idea but if no one knows about it then you will not make any sales. Let’s face it. We are in business to make money.

2.Start writing your steps to success. If you have a system that works then document it. You may be able to turn this information into a book someday.

3.Focus leads to progress. Free yourself by focusing on one task at a time.

4.Don’t feel that you have to do everything yourself. Hire a housekeeper, a virtual assistant or a business coach to help guide you through the process of jumpstarting your business.

With Ideas in Mind,

Rosalyn

Great ideas here. I know other threads touch on the subject, but the Laws of Attraction/The Secret also help very much. Setting goals, visualizing and being positive help a lot.

Hi Rosalyn,

Your ideas for overcoming overwhelm are excellent. I especially like the idea of devoting a specific amount of time per day to business marketing. You suggested 2 hours, and for me that sounds perfect. Without keeping track of the time, I tend to either market or worry about marketing 24/7.

Thank you!

Hello Braveheart Sisters,

Thank you Rosalyn for these 4 steps to get unstuck!
I would like to add something that might also help when feeling stuck and overwhelmed, which has helped me very much. This is MindMapping where you are today.
You see, we all think in pictures. When I tell you to think about your car, you don´t think about the letters C-A-R, the image of your car comes right to your mind; if I tell you to think about your favorite couch, the same thing happens and you even see yourself sitting or lying on it and feeling how comfortable it is. So, what image comes to your mind when you are stuck and overwhelmed?
When you are stuck and overwhelmed you are confused and out of confusion comes order. So the best way is to make an image of these "confusion" that´s in your mind. To do this you can use a very simple tool: Mindmapping. For this use a free software like bubbl.us (or any other Mindmapping one). Just go to www.bubble.us and follow the instructions on how to use it. It´s for newbies.
On the center of the page place YOU and coming out of it just make "bubbles" of all what´s overwhelming you and that´s having you stuck.
Once you´ve "thrown everything ou"t, just sit back, relax and look at it . You are now no longer ZOOMed IN it but rather in a ZOOM OUT state.
You will find out that most of the things that are overwhelming you are either irrelevant or can be easily solved. And you will also find a way to solve those that seem to have you stuck.

To a life of joy and fulfillment,

Mariette Argelery

P.D. Please let me know how it goes. OK?

I feel you have already shown strength by enduring so much in your life. You must believe the power of prayer, believe me GOD is on your side. You must focus on your child right now and pull him out of his depression state. Remember our children is our strength and our future.

Hello this is my first time looking and joining this site. It must have been God because I just ran into this site. I really needed new friends and positive women in my life. I am a stylist and have been for 23 years but I got sick as a result of a bad surgery I was making over a 100 thousand a year about 5 years ago lost home, car and almost my mind. Not including my health. I was never a sickly person. Now I have 3 different diseases with no cure. But I do believe in God sometime I just want to give up although I am usually a very strong person. We have moved every year since and we are barely in our apartment. My child is very depressed. :-x Lately for some reason I have not been able to cry. My dog is even sick and have no money for vet let alone paying the rent on time. I have started a business online but cant even afford to finish paying the 40.00 I owe for my site that I dont even like. Saying the lease its been very hard for us but i continue to try and market my businesses with no money its very hard and I do not know much about how to market on all the social networks I have tried but no success. Please I am wanting to give up but I still have dreams of being successful. That is one of the only things that keep me on this computer not giving up. And my child I am all the strength that he has. I was inspired by your words but I just have to continue to read because I want so very bad to be depress because nothing positive has happened in my life in a long time. As far as money is concerned. I have not been able to get help from no one.

Yes, definitely feeling financially challenged. There has been a long period of not having resources for splurges, but lately even the more basic items are becoming difficult acquisitions. It is stressful, but I am not one to give up hope. My business hopefully will become more productive this year, although the year is well underway. Read today on September 23 there will be 100 days left in 2010 and we should all consider giving ourselves the 100 day challenge of what to accomplish. If we write it down, we own it. Mine will focus on my finances and making my small business more lucrative.

God's Blessings to you all,
Fran

I know this will reach many of you that are stuck....There is hope and help....and you don't have to pay for it. Clearing your mind or negative thoughts and focusing on the positive may sound corny to many people, but believe me.....It Works!!!
When you concentrate and worry about lack, need, bills, how will this get done, where will the money come from to pay that....Or my personal favorite....Whatever can go wrong will !!!! Am I Right?

Then things will go wrong. I am not saying to never think about these things.....Just don't make them your focus. Focus on positive emotions and energy and watch things turn around.
I am studying a book THINK and Grow Rich. You are all welcome to join this Master Mind group by calling me and I will get you in on the group and the call.

Get UNSTUCK,
Zel

Rubles, I'm a realtor in PA and am seriously considering a move to MD in the next several months. The move will signify a major life change for my daughter and me--one we're both ready for and are looking forward to very much.

The idea of starting over, just when I'm starting to do some business (I've been in the business two years), is scary, but it's exciting, too.

We'll make it happen. We just have to push aside the fear and be focused and motivated and consistent.

Yes, I feel overwhelmed, stuck , and angry most of the time these day. I have difficulty setting down in complete quietness for meditation and prayer. I am a retired administrator and teacher with 34 years in service in public education. I have started my own business (NGWT, (N God We Trust), LLC). It (the business) is at a stand still now. I do not have funds to continue marketing it. I would love to get a partner who wishes to assist me finanically or make suggestions for moving foward or selling the business if that is my best option at this time. I have also worked as a University Supervisor for the last four years of retirement.

None of this seems to bring me satification or happiness. Every aspect of my life: spiritual, emotional, social, physical and financial prosperities are imbalanced.

I have finally taken responsiblity for my finances. My husband and I sat down and figured out how much we owe. We have found a consolidation company where we have consolidated our finances and they are helping us get out of debt. They have been a god send. If you want info, send me a message. Everyone needs help these days.
I have recently started a website http://www.igotgifts.com and It is my hope that within the next two years or sooner to have a many people wearing the Qlink product that I have on my site. They have come out with a new product - The QLink mini for your cell phones. It protects your immune system or your electro magnetic field from all the bad things from our electronics. It is my hope that every parent whose child has a cell phone, will get one of these to protect them. Children and these products are one of my passions.

Hey Ella, I find that to be true as well! Usually songs, or conversations will inspire me. But there has been times when the weather has also connected me to my own feelings!

Thank you for sharing your experience!

Yes I do felt this way before, but now I'm already able to somehow manage my time well. Thanks to a friend of mine who taught me great things that a busy female entrepreneur like me needs. You might want to check out this link http://performtoprofit.com . It will help you achieve the most with your very limited time. Learn to manage your time and not the other way around. It helped me a lot, so I'm hoping it could be of help to you too.

Yes I have been feeling that way for some time now. I am currently digging myself out of that hole wanting that freedom I so deserve. This week it is all about getting unstuck and overwhelmed. I have alot on my plate that will cause me to be overwhelmed but I am forced to get over it and correct the errors I created from the fear of avoidance, that consumed me last week. I am at the tail end of my past life. I have a few things I need to do, to get the closure, but it scares me. I need to face those fears and get it done. I can't blame anyone for where I am right now, only myself. Only myself can get me out of it. I am good with pressure, last minute because I usually put things off for that long, then I am forced to finish. I have an opportunity to design gift products to be displayed in a local store, plus start selling on friday night art night, I need to do this. This website is helping me see the light, which I desperately need. I need the energy from other braveheart women to know that I am worth the change and I could do it. Thank you everyone for your stories, it helps, as well as the videos. It feels good, a dose of positive attitude on a daily basis.

Thank you for your post. I am often amazed at how Higher Wisdom speaks to me through everyday things (bumperstickers, a line of a song, overhearing something while standing in a checkout line, etc) when I pay attention. Sort of how I found my way to BraveHeartWomen.

Under the My Content section there are several options, click on each one to see where it takes you eg. Messages, will take you to your messages where you can also email people. It operates pretty much like a normal email account.

Blog will take you to a place where you can blog, this is your own blog where you write what is going on for you. After you write something and then submit the post.
These then go to the main blogs page where most people seem to interact.

In My profile, to receive comments, one of the last buttons asks do you want to review comments. It is best to say no, that way when people comment you will be able to see them. Tick the box to allow people to comment!

You can join as many communities as you like, there are many, check them out and join the ones that resonate with you.

You can also invite people to become your friends.

I hope this helps, any more help just ask me in a message?
love Karen
