I chose this year to make a committment to be happy. Not to accumulate more stuff or do more things, or be everything to everyone all of the time. I commit to myself and the art of being happy with what I have and pushing for what I want.

Wow!!! I did not make any because I felt like I would rebel if I did. Which in fact I would have. I think mostly my resolution that is unwritten is to do what I want to do when I want to do it as much as it is possible to do so. I was a major people pleaser for so many years. Now I know how to say "No", when I need to. One thing I know I will do this year is get out of debt and stay there. Of course on a daily basis I do wonderful things for my personal growth such as being a part of braveheart, reading, and relaxing on my patio, which I have been blessed with.

Haven't really thought about resolutions till now.....

Think my first would be: be true to myself

Second, make a vision board, learn a new language, find a career that inspires me and lastly (at least for now) allow myself to be open to loving again!

Fingers crossed xx

Can you believe that it is already April 1st? We are already 1/4 of the way through 2009. Do you remember those New Year's Resolutions? How are we doing with them? Are we on track to make our goals a reality?

This is a GREAT time to sit down and revisit the goals we have established for 2009. Are we on track? Are they realistic? Do they need to be dusted off and brought back to our attention? Do they need to be tweeked to represent the reality that is now?

Do you feel supported in those goals? How can you get support if you are not feeling it? BraveHeartWomen is a great forum for that support. Put your needs out there. Ask for people to support you in your endeavours. It makes a huge difference to go through each day knowing that whatever the day brings, you are feeling the support of people who are wishing you well. And if you have a question, you can ask and answers will be offered.

You have it all. Revisit those goals and make them a reality. Life is so much more inspiring when you know you are moving on a path that will get you where you want to go,

Have a marvelous day.

Wow. I loved reading the resolutions that you have shared.

This is a very inspiring discussion. Thank-you for your beautiful energy.

I made the leap to building my own businesses with the challenges and rewards that that entails.

Firstly, my passion and main focus is on sharing an alkaline drinking water that is four times as antioxidant as green tea. Drinking this water changed my life so much that I left the corporate world to devote myself to getting the info to as many people as possible.

I have websites, no blog yet.

If you would like to check them out, that would make me happy:

http://www.phwaterwellness.com
htp://www.phwaterwellness.net
http://www.phwaterwellness.org
http://www.phwaterwellness.biz

I also have a free e-book that can be received by e-mail.
phwaterwellness@live.ca

My second adventure was launching a website and blog where people can get free tools and tips for doing business on the web. I got tired of being taken for a ride by internet gurus so I started a forum for people to receive and share tools and tips that have helped them for free:

http://www.adsenserevisited.com

I do have a blog for this one: http://networkingtheeasyway.wordpress.com/

On the creative side, I started a project to make a video just of smiling faces of all ages and background. I would love to add your smile to my video. You can e-mail me a picture of you smiling to phwaterwellness@live.ca I started this as a result of too many people focusing on the tough times out there. Every time I take pictures of people smiling the energy is so much playful and fun that I know that this is something that I need to do.

I am not making any resolutions right now. Just working on living in the present and being grateful.

Peace to all of you and, by the way, this site is awesome. Who started this website? I love it.

Thank-u Bravehearts for being so beautiful and so inspiring.

HELLO BRAVEHEARTS!!!

I still have been pondering this resolution idea... I have decided that I should make new MONTHLY resolutions, so that I am CONSISTENT!

Aha #1: Consistency - I must keep my goals in mind, utilize the vision board, and always enhance the drive!

#2: Remember... I just had a birthday last month, and I must say that I think it was one of the most touching days I have had in years. My friends from allllll over remembered me! I received more calls, messages, and cards that any year before. I felt truly loved. I want to pay that forward..... REMEMBER!

#3: Be healthy: I joined the gym again!! As a single mom who works full time this is a task! I decided, be good with me, and I will be the best mom I can be! Teach my little girls a healthy way of life!

#4: Focus on the Law of Attraction: Stay grounded and be in this moment right now. Sometimes being back in the corporate world, I get caught up..... learn to let that go.... I must surround myself with like minds! The EXCELLENT news... this truly amazing community is assisiting me with that!!!

#5: To be determined!

Creating a wonderful, purpose driven life ~

Hello Braveheart Sisters!

I haven't written these down anywhere, but they have been on my mind. I am happy to put them down in writing....and hold myself accountable to my these desires. I look forward to 2009 as it unfolds.

1)Enjoy a minimum of 1 hour a day writing or creating video.

2)Have fun composing and practicing music everyday for as long as I feel like it.

3)Finish producing the "Be Brave,Have Heart" single song free CD, the double EP set I am currently recording, and create a few "Honor Your Truth" fun products (for ex: funky button,t-shirt,etc.)

4)Nurture my connection with the God of my understanding everyday. Saying Thank you upon awakening. Doing an inventory of the day and saying Thank you before falling to sleep at night. Being still for a moment before speaking or taking action. Listening more. Taking more conscious breaths throughout the day. Contemplating ways I can be of service.

5)Do what I want because I trust myself. Let go when I feel led to. Follow my heart when and where I am inspired to. Say Yes. Say No. Love myself by taking care of my health with my simple daily routine. Risk being myself. Don't negotiate my values. Don't wait to tell the truth attempting to control an outcome for myself or someone else. Accept grief. Accept acceptance. Accept feedback both negative and positive with grace and gratitude. Respect the inspiration I am grateful to receive by Honoring My Truth!

We will have a lot of fun along the way. It's all good!

Happy New Year,

Hello Brave Heart Women,

Here's to sharing my intentions for 2009 - writing them one more time is a great way to increase the commitment.

Spend a minimum of 1 hour a day developing new relationships and nurturing the ones I have.

Bring value to others by offering great content and resources that will help them discover, and access their power within.

Consistently meditate for 30-60 minutes a day. Listen to the quiet inner voice.

Spend 1 hour a day, 5 days a week writing.

Operate more consistently from a place of Flow - where things unfold with ease and grace.

I intend to do the above in a state of Joy and with an attitude of Gratitude!

Lynette :)
