I am so happy that you mention that you 'found them in an unexpected place.' So often we do not really 'see' that which surrounds us. No accident that you were led to browse through your April 2006 National Geographic magazine.

It is two days later and I found them in an unexpected place. The day I did this visualization I saw 2 butterflies, 1 bumblebee, and a tank full of fat goldfish. That wasn't quite what I was hoping for. I saw a single dragonfly buzz above me yesterday, but it still wasn't it. Today I had an impulse to browse my collection of Natl. Geographic. I decided to open one I'd never read, dated April 2006! It had a story on dragonflies. Page one of the story displayed a beautiful image of 2 red ones. Page two showed 4 blue dragonflies. Pages 3 and 4 showed green dragonflies.
All these dragonflies were only 10 feet from my balcony all along!

OK, I chose to focus on seeing three dragonflies land on my balcony simultaneously. One blue, one red, one green. That's pretty darned specific! It made me giggle aloud to pretend to be a 7 year old watching dragonflies alight near me. I'll go through my day and see what happens now.
