The Veteran’s Connection, Inc. is a Veteran run nonprofit organization that advocates and assists Veterans in making sure they are not left behind.

Some would ask, what makes The Veteran’s Connection, Inc. any different than the
thousands of others? Perhaps the biggest difference is that Founder and CEO Lisa
Groves have fought to do the right thing and yet each step of the way, was met with contempt and disregard.

A portion of Veteran’s Connection, Inc. business
where they sold $1.00 World Famous hotdogs was vandalized, the crimes were never investigated nor the ones who did it never arrested.

Through all of the battles in her life has strengthened, driven and encouraged her to go with God beside her at full force and full speed. Lisa Groves never loss her compassion and continued selling hotdogs out of a tent in all types of weather. All ot the outreach and services are always free to the Veterans.

I'm the first black female to established an AmericanLegion Post ever in the World. I won many awards for my great contribution to Veterans and the Jefferson Awards is one of them. Since September 2, 2011 I have traveled into 38 USA states and have 10 more to complete for Veteran's Awareness. As I travled I have had over 2,000 Veterans who have shared their stories with me and I plan to write a book after I complete all 48 USA States.
